tender tangles by qwizzz (2026)

Channeling 90’s Radiohead and The Brian Jonestown Massacre in equal measure, Reno, Nevada’s qwizzz (Chris Gibson) makes these 10 impeccable tracks a canvas for messy, emotional vulnerability. Our debut rock release falls in line with our literary mission to platform raw, undergound and outsider voices.

Available on now on Soundcloud, YouTube, and Spotify with physical releases to be announced soon.

Dryback OST (Volumes 1-2) by Juan Ecchi (2026)

By providing the ambient soundtrack to his debut novel Dryback, Juan Ecchi also provided us our debut music release.

Artist’s statement:

The two volumes of the Dryback soundtrack represent 3 years of creativity. Initially recorded during downtime while writing Dryback, they eventually began soundtracking the writing process; looping in the background as I worked on the manuscript.

Each track is a single take, recorded live in AUM on my iPad. I would set up a “system” of synths, sequencers, and effects before sketching out a basic musical idea. Usually a few notes and/or chords. I’d hit record and manipulate the sparse elements for however long felt right. For this release, the tentative beginnings and messy ends have been cut, leaving the perfect middle where a loop or groove settled long enough to create a mood.

This score wasn’t always part of the Dryback release plan. I never viewed them as more than a creative exercise between spurts of writing, and they were slated to die when my iPad’s battery did. Upon revisiting them after turning in the manuscript, it was clear they were impossible to separate from the novel. It’s not necessary to listen to the soundtrack while reading the book, though it does present an opportunity for deeper emotional understanding of the work. -Juan
